Holy Week is a great religious public manifestation that is deeply rooted in the Vega Baja that can boast of authentic treasures in sculptural groups and processional parades. Next, we propose some of the processions and moments to enjoy these days.
Callosa de Segura offers a colorful liturgical procession on Palm Sunday morning where white palms in different smooth and curly versions are the protagonists. The blessing of the palms takes place in the church of San José and from there the procession goes to the Arciprestal de San Martín.
Holy Week in Guardamar del Segura has an element that sets it apart and distinguishes it: it is the outdoor performances based on passages from the Passion of Christ, which are performed during the processions that take place during that Big Week.

Great fervor is lived in Rojales on Holy Thursday from 10 pm with the procession of Silence organized by the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Good Death and the Holy Crucifixion on Mount Calvary and the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows and Saint Juan de la Palma.
Good Friday is synonymous with Songs of the Passion in Catral. At five o'clock in the morning these ancestral songs begin to sound accompanied by unique two-meter-long trumpets, mounted on two wheeled carts. They are short melodies with verses alluding to The Passion.
